My name is Mona from Baghdad and I am 27 years old. Mother to two children. I live in Malmo, recently two years ago.
I was born in Baghdad. My dad was a communist and he raised me and my 4 siblings in a different way from the tradition in Iraq. The woman has her rights and lives in her own way. I grew up with these thoughts from my dad. But when I got older, my thoughts broke with the society in Baghdad.

My name is Omar, a Palestinian dentist from Gaza. I came to Sweden during the last war in Gaza 2014 and have lived here for almost three years.

I never thought I would leave Palestine or Gaza. In my country there is no electricity, sometimes no gas, no medicin, and we are sometimes locked in, but still I love my homeland and miss it. But I had to flee because our house was bombed. Sometimes when I watch videos from Gaza I start crying, I miss it.

My name is Mohamad, Palestinian from the Yarmuk refugee in Damascus. We decided to leave Yarmuk when it became uncertain in the area, 90 percent of the Yarmouk population fled. I saw people die in front of me. My house was destroyed and my wife was injured and passed away two days later.

I came to Sweden 1,5 years ago. I lived a stable life in Irak, exept for the last two years. I would have stayed in my country, but there were to many bombs and insecurity. I was persecuted by a group of people belonging to the government and the situation was getting worse.
