Zaman

Zaman is 8 years old. He came to Greece with his family, from Iraqi-Kurdistan, almost a year ago. In the beginning, they were staying in Skaramagas refugee centre. He likes going to school and speaking in English and Greek. In the future, he wants to become a doctor and a very famous person so that people will know his work. Hales

Hales fled from Iraqi-Kurdistan to Greece with her family one year ago. In the beginning, they were staying in Skaramagas refugee centre for eleven months, but now they live in Athens city centre, in an apartment that was provided by an NGO. Music helped me a lot to forget

My name is Miran. I come from Iraq and I am 17 years old. Ι left Iraq because Daesh attacked us. They wanted to kill us, so we left our country and we stayed in the mountains with my family and a lot of people for seven days, without food and water. Then, we went to Dohuk near Iraq. We stayed there for one year but there was not any organization to help us and we did not have money. So, we decided to leave Iraq because we could not stay there anymore.
