My name is Mohamad, Palestinian from the Yarmuk refugee in Damascus. We decided to leave Yarmuk when it became uncertain in the area, 90 percent of the Yarmouk population fled. I saw people die in front of me. My house was destroyed and my wife was injured and passed away two days later.

In Syria, I worked as a teacher for 27 years. We lived in a refugee camp in Damascus but we decided to move to another area. After some time it became insecure to stay there, so we decided to escape.

Mohammad Bader al Deen Al Mozeek is 50 years old, from Damascus, Syria.
I came to Denmark in august 2015, with my oldest daughter. I have 5 girls and a boy. We lived in Sønderborg for 8 months, and then we moved to Hillerød. I came from the old Town of Damascus. Damascus is a beautiful city, we have an old river that is about 10000 years old. I had my own company, but got a job in Saudi Arabia, as a projectleader. I was employed in the government in Syria. I came to Denmark in 2016, with my two little girls because of family reunification. My husband came to Denmark in 2010.
I was the favorite of among all my siblings. We were seven children, and my father loved me very much. My parents are from Afrin but I was born in Aleppo. I studied at the institute of trade and commerce. Before I finished my education I found a job, working for the government. I was very happy with that job. I came to Denmark in 2014 with my younger brother who just turned 24. In Syria I worked as a hairdresser, and I had a salon of my own since I was 15 years old. Right now I am finishing an education to become a hairdresser by profession, and I have an intership at Sthur. In November 2018 I will become a hairdresser!
