Ola wants her lawschool degree

Ola Safrani, 22 year old woman, from Syria.

I studied lawschool in Lattaqia university. I am from Hamman, in the middle of Syria. During the war, I escaped in 2015 with my family to Germany, I escaped with my mother and brother, but I still have two sisters and my father in Syria. We cannot get family reunification. I have permission to stay and study in Germany, but I have to begin from start if I want to study law again. I learned German and they accepted me to go to courses at Darmstadt university. It is very far from where I lived, took me 4 hours out and 4 hours back, so I started again in another school to learn Dutch language. My husband is here in Denmark, so I decided to go here, and stay here. So now I have the resident permit in Germany, but have been granted family reuinificaltion here in Denmark. Now I learn Danish and want to study the law again, in a Danish university. I also work as a translator in French, because in Syria, we learn Syrian and French as language. I am very happy to be with my husband, wish to have a baby and stay here, get a job that matches her studies.

I want to live here in Europe, or Denmark, I like the life here. I hope I get admitted to the university to study and get my education.
