I would just like to live a life like any other normal teenager

I arrived in Denmark in December 2017, and my dream is to live a life like any other teenager and do things that any teenager would do and be happy. Ever since I was a kid I have always liked to be artistic and creative and paint and make jewellery.

Before the civil war broke out I worked as a tailor. I was happy with my wife and children and we had just bought an apartment in the city, where we lived when things got more complicated. And we decided that I should go alone to Turkey to work in order to save up some money for the family, so that we all could leave Syria. My work consisted of assembling different kinds of furniture, but the man who was my boss was a racist and he was always shouting a lot at me, and I only managed to stay there for 2 months before I went back again to Syria. I came to Denmark in 2014. In Syria my family and I owned a textile and lingerie factory and three shops.
